CLARIFICATION TEXT

ALTIN GÖK TOURISM FACILITIES TRADE AND INDUSTRY INC. (“ARMONIA HOTEL” or “Company”) processes, stores, and transfers all kinds of personal data within the scope of campaigns and services carried out by us in accordance with the importance we attach to the security of your personal data, in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”). This is an informative text about our personal data processing activities in accordance with the Law within the framework of the campaigns and services conducted by us.

1. DATA CONTROLLER AND REPRESENTATIVE

As per the KVKK, as a company, we can process, record, store, classify, update, and, within the limits of the legal legislation, transfer your personal data related to the purposes described below as the data controller, in connection with the purposes described below, in a limited and proportional manner, in compliance with the law and principles of honesty, accurately and up-to-date.

Our company reserves the right to update this “Information Text on the Protection of Personal Data” in accordance with any changes that may be made in the current official legislation.

2. PROTECTION AND PROCESSING PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA

According to the law, personal data is defined as any kind of data belonging to a specific and identifiable real person. In this context, all your data that will be accepted within this scope is evaluated in accordance with the relevant legislation in our company.

Your identity information, contact information, customer transaction information, camera recordings in common areas for physical space security; are processed for the purposes of managing, analyzing, and providing better services to our customers, managing our relationships with our customers before, during, or after their stay, sending electronic messages for advertising purposes to individuals who have given electronic message consent, managing contract processes, managing service marketing processes, tracking requests and complaints, providing information to authorized institutions and organizations, planning and conducting activities and operational processes, conducting activities in compliance with legislation, complying with the information storage, reporting, and informing obligations foreseen by legislation and relevant authorities, sales, marketing, and promotion processes of products and services, market research, determining and customizing the use and service understanding of likes, planning and executing activities for the detection and customization of appreciation, call center processes, execution of activities and management of relationships with business partners, dealers, or suppliers, conducting financial and accounting affairs, creating and tracking visitor records.

As a rule, our company obtains the express written consent of the data owner (or relevant individuals) for the processing of personal data. However, if any of the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5/2 or Article 6/3 of the KVKK exist, express consent is not required.

3. PROCESSING OF SPECIAL QUALIFIED PERSONAL DATA

The data related to individuals’ race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dress, association, foundation or union membership, health, sexual life, criminal conviction, and data related to security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data, are considered special qualified personal data.

The processing of special qualified personal data without the explicit consent of the data subject is prohibited. Your special qualified personal data is not processed in any way without obtaining your explicit consent or without the data processing condition specified in Article 6/3 of the KVKK.

4. TRANSFER AND PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be transferred to authorized institutions and organizations, affiliated companies, business partners, shareholders, real and private legal entities by the Company for the purposes described above. Any personal data transfer that is not in line with our Company’s activities beyond the stated purposes will not be carried out without the express consent of the data owner. Your personal data cannot be transferred abroad without your explicit consent in accordance with the Law. Your personal data is not transferred abroad.

5. METHOD OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS

Your personal data is collected verbally, in writing, or electronically and based on the purposes stated above in order to carry out our activities. In this context, your personal data is processed and transferred without obtaining explicit consent for special qualified personal data specified in Article 5/2 of the KVKK; being stipulated in the laws, being impossible in practice, establishing or performing the contract, legal obligations of the data controller, being made public by the relevant person, being necessary for the establishment, use or protection of a right, and in the cases specified in Articles 6/3, and health and personal data other than sexual life specified in Article 6/3, without obtaining explicit consent, in cases stipulated in the laws.

6. OUR BASIC PRINCIPLES IN PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Compliance with the law and ethical rules: Our company queries the source of the obtained data and ensures that your personal data is obtained through legal means by carefully examining the data.
Accuracy and currency when necessary: We pay maximum attention to ensure that your personal data is processed accurately, completely, and with your explicit consent, and we attach importance to updating it in case of any changes.
Processing for specific, clear, and legitimate purposes: Your personal data is processed only for the purposes stated above and within the framework of the laws. Data processing is never carried out in any way outside the specified purposes.
Being related, limited, and proportional to the purpose for which they are processed: Your personal data is used only for the specified purposes and in a measured, limited manner.
Retention for the period required by the relevant legislation or the purpose for which they are processed: Your personal data is retained for the periods specified in the legislation.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AS AN INDIVIDUAL UNDER THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

According to the Law, everyone has the right to apply to the data controller and has the following rights regarding themselves. By applying to our company;

Learn whether your personal data is processed or not,
Request information if your personal data has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
Request correction if personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of the Law,
Request notification of the processes carried out in accordance with subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
Object to the emergence of a result against the person by objecting to the processing of personal data exclusively by automatic systems,
If personal data is processed unlawfully and causes damage, request the compensation of the damage.

8. TO APPLY UNDER THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

All applications, as announced above, will be processed if the form on the page is filled out and sent by choosing one of the methods specified in the application form.

Rights regarding personal data can only be used for data about the individuals themselves. Requests regarding data of individuals other than the person filling out the form will not be considered.
